You know what time it is! That's right, it's weekend time.

We don't know about you, but this weekend looks as promising as ever for all of our fave events and we are so not above getting totally hype for it.

This weekend we've got all kinds of stuff goin' down in this beautiful city for all you artsy folk, food lovers, and yes, even you sporty types! Get out of your normal routine, spice things up for your brunch plans and get out here!

Let's go!

Friday, October 6

New York Comic Con

If you've never done New York Comic Con, we seriously don't know what rock you've been living under but we encourage you to come out from under it. Comic-Con in NYC is the biggest manifestation of pop culture, superheroes, and intellectual talks with Hollywood actors, game designers, etc. that you've ever seen before.

And this year we've got our boys Mark Hamill from Starwars and even R.L. Stine, best-selling author of Goosebumps (#tbt!) coming and they're totally up for a photo op!

Get your costumes and props ready!

New Yorker Festival

Oh yes, oh yes, oh heck yes!

All this weekend, the world's top artists, authors, actors, and thinkers are coming to talk to YOU at the New Yorker Festival all around the Big Apple!

Going down in six different venues with top names like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Glenn Close, Seth Meyers, Jerry Seinfeld and MORE you absolutely have to get yourself out to this event. You will not be disappointed.

Saturday, October 7

Diwali at Times Square

If there's one thing (okay there are a lot of things) that New York totally slays the game in, it's cultural events. From Italian fests to Little Caribbean parties, there's just always something dope going down for us to learn about a culture.

All the more reason to get yourself out this weekend for our bomb Diwali NYC Festival for free concerts, cultural performances, awesome South Asian foodie flavors, and tons of opportunities to shop til' you drop!

You're going to need to be in Times Square, okay. But we promise you that you will actually enjoy it this time.

O'Zapft Is! Citizen Mayor Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin Taps The Keg!

GTFO are you serious?! Citizen Mayor C.V.C. is kicking off our weekend by personally tapping our keg and getting us all some FREE BEER for Oktoberfest.

We're not sure if you realize how chill this lady is. A seventh generation descendant of railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt AND great-great-great niece of the Duchess of Marlborough, former Billboard Dance Chart topper, she will be personally serving us up some yummy brews.

Get yourselves down to Paulaner, 265 Bowery from 6-8 p.m. with your mugs ready!

The Global Run 2017

If you're the awesome readers we know you are, you like to do good and feel good too. And that's why we love you, boo boo!

And since we're all so awesome, we know you'll be coming out to the Global Run with Team New York to raise money with us for the Amazing Maasai Girls Project, a non-profit with a mission to get some bada$$ ladies secondary school education in rural Kenya.

Um, yessss.

Sunday, October 8
