One holiday tradition many people love is piling into a car and checking out the best neighborhoods known for their over-the-top Christmas light displays. 

New York City, as it happens, is no different.

But where can you go to see the lights without dealing with everyone and their mother crowding Rockefeller Center like it's the last Christmas that will ever happen? 

The answer is Dyker Heights, where some of NYC's most impressive homes go all-out with the Christmas lights. 

But who wants to drive out to Dyker Heights just for some lights? Well, there's a tour so you don't even have to worry about it. Eggnog anyone?

On December 10th, you can jump on a bus, double-fist some complimentary holiday cocktails or wine, and take a ride from Union Square out to Brooklyn's Dyker Heights.

The bus leaves at 6:30 p.m., and you're free to spread joy on the bus with other similarly festive personalities until you arrive in Dyker Heights around 7:15 p.m.
