If you live in Forest Hills, Queens, things are about to get way more delicious.
Why, you ask? Well, it's official. Shake Shack headquarters has confirmed that Queens is getting another standalone Shake Shack.
According to NY Eater, the address will be 71-26 Austin Street.
"It feels good to continue to deepen our footprint in our hometown of NYC," said a Shake Shack representative.
Hey Shake Shack! It feels good to us, too! We can't wait to have another outpost where we can sink our teeth into as many 'Shroom Burgers smothered in Shack Sauce as we can.
If you live in Queens, feel free to commence with the celebrations.
Why should Queens be celebrating so fervently?
Well, we know all too well that just having Shake Shacks in JFK and Citi Field are not enough. Yes, we also know we've seriously considered buying a ticket to a flight or a game just so we could nom on a SmokeShack.
There's already a standalone ShakeShack in the works in Elmhurst, and it's supposed to open sometime in 2016.
Now we won't have to have tickets to something just to get those delicious burgers. Now, all we'll have to do to get those delicious burgers in Queens is, well, show up at Shake Shack, in either Forest Hills or Elmhurst, and get one.
We don't have information on when the Forest Hills ShakeShack will open its doors to hungry New Yorkers, but we will keep you updated when we do.
