So you got stuck with hosting out-of-town family and/or friends for a few days this summer?

We feel your pain, but you're actually in luck coming across this walking tour map invented by Business Insider contributor Randy Olsen.

See, this borderline genius (at least in our books) has come up with an absolutely amazing algorithm to tour the most popular New York City tourist attractions (according to TripAdvisor) on foot.

This grueling New York City walking tour can be completed in approximately 4.5 hours of walking, so be sure to wear your walking shoes. (We'll leave it up to you if you want to let your out-of-towners in on that as well.)

Of course, if you prefer, you can also take the easy way out and hitch a ride on public transportation-- or even ride a Citi Bike along this route.
