1. New York Water Taxi (Pier 79 - West 39th Street)

There's this award-winning oyster bar on the deck of a wooden schooner, Sherman Zwicker, and you can spend an evening dining and sailing on it.
The Sherman Zwicker is the largest wooden vessel in New York and is built in traditional sailboat style, so riding this boat is almost as good as visiting a boat museum. Two birds with one stone, anyone?
Also if you haven't heard, oysters are an aphrodisiac, so if the person you're dating isn't allergic to shellfish, this is as good a date night as any.
Grand Banks' menu contains sustainably produced, small farm, and wild harvest oysters from both coasts, nautically inspired cocktails, lobster rolls, scallop ceviche, clams, swordfish, and more.
They're open from 3 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to midnight, Friday through Sunday, at Pier 25 in Tribeca.
3. North River Lobster Company (Pier 81 - West 41st Street)
The North River Lobster Company is a three-level cruise ship which offers 45-minute cruises on the Hudson River every day of the week. The best part? Actual admission onto the boat costs absolutely nothing. When we first heard that, we thought it sounded too good to be true too.
But rest assured, NYC, this is completely legit.
NYC summers are meant for friends, dancing, drinking, rooftops, and just downright actin’ wild.
While the North River Lobster Company's food and drinks are a tad on the pricey side, remember that basically everything else in NYC is and that the North River Lobster Company's food and drinks comes with a scenic boat ride of the Hudson River, the NYC skyline, and hopefully a slight buzz from some Coronas.
So it's worth it.
This boat ride and lobster roll combo is a lovely way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or just the fact that it's the weekend.
,4. The Water Table (10 India Street - Brooklyn)
The Water Table is a World War II vessel, one of three ships of its kind still in service, and features a New England based menu in its heated indoor cabin. It's definitely on the upscale side, so dress accordingly.
All of the seats on the ship face outward toward a view of the New York Harbor, so passengers enjoy the comfort of indoors and the splendor of the water simultaneously.
The boat's scenic route begins at Greenpoint and cruises south past the Domino Sugar Factory, the Williamsburg Bridge, the Brooklyn Navy Yard, under the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges, and concludes at the Statue of Liberty.
They offer dinner service Thursday through Sunday, and making a reservation is definitely the right move here. Dinner offers a three-course menu, and your $75 buys you the cruise and your meal.
Boarding begins at 7:20 p.m., and the ship departs promptly at 7:30 p.m. Sunday Supper includes a two-course menu, boards at 5:50 p.m., and costs $50.
5. New York Booze Cruise (The Skyport Marina - East 23rd Street)

New York Booze Cruise is in the party business, so buy a ticket and come join their party.
They offer cruises to the public on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7 p.m to 10 p.m. These cruises are deejayed, provide a cash buffet and cash bar, and are guaranteed to offer a turned up time for you and your pals.
General admission is $40 and includes the boat ride and the party. A $75 admission and open bar option is also available.

Want to eat a meal on a boat? How about a famous, historical boat that's permanently moored? (So you can even bring your seasick friends.)
Docked at Pier 66 Maritime Bar & Grill, The Frying Pan is most famous, categorical of boat-ridden restaurants, a must-visit summer destination. The restaurant is aboard a lightship named Frying Pan and it's a historic vessel permanently anchored within Hudson River Park.
Open daily from 11:30 a.m. to midnight, their menu offers a cavalcade of meal options, from a BBQ chicken basket to fresh ceviche. They also offer a full drink menu for your summertime reveries. Can we recommend the sangria?
