In 1994, photographer Moyra Davey spent over a year taking pictures of Manhattan's dying newsstands, back when New York was a much more graffiti-filled city.

Luckily for us, just this past month, New York Magazine posted her amazing collection which reveals just how much New York City has changed in twenty years.

Davey, seeing that newsstands were changing right before her eyes, decided to magically capture this now vanishing piece of New York.

You see, two decades ago, newsstands were beat-up and covered with graffiti, as was much of this city.

In photographing these newsstands, she certainly captured a special bit part of New York City's history.
