10 Instagrams That'll Make You Fall in Love With NYC All Over Again

Subscribe to spoiled NYC's official newsletter, The Stoop, for the best news, eats, drinks, places to go, and things to do.

Instagram is much more than selfies and food pictures (though, we're all guilty in taking a few of these every once in a while). It's also a chance to show the world the way only you see the world and take a peak into the lives of others.

Appropriately, New York City on Instagram makes for a colorful and endlessly creative experience. No two pictures will ever be alike and the city means something different to everyone.

Some people want to document their outfit of the day while others want to explore the sprawling urban art. To get your coverage of NYC Instagram started, here are 10 accounts to give you a taste of how to be a professional 'Gram-er.

1. @NYOnAir

It's easy to forget just how astounding this city is because all we can do is look up at the buildings around us.

If we even have the time to look at all. NewYorkOnAir wants to fix that. They describe themselves as a "global aerial content company," which is just a fancy of saying that they take badass pictures above the city. Ever wondered where those bird's-eye images of the skyline come from?

Well, these guys may be it!

2. @MasonShaker

masonshaker Puppy Bowl...err...#SuperBowl weekend has arrived! Upgrade the beer at your party with The Three and Out, a spicy shandy featuring @brooklynbrewery pilsner that you'll want to have on hand tomorrow. Follow the link in our bio above for the recipe!

Like a car on gasoline, it's an undeniable fact that New Yorkers run on alcohol and happy hours.

And to make your home drinking experience as homey as possible, W&P Design in Brooklyn created MasonShaker, which is, in fact, a mason jar made into a cocktail shaker.

However, the shaker itself isn't the star of the show here. It's the out of this world cocktails they share on Insta' that'll end your days of cranberry vodkas.

3. @GrilledCheeseSocial

grilledcheesesocial The cheesemongers at @murrayscheese make their #grilledcheese with a secret blend of the best meltable cheeses + some of #Wisconsin's finest @nueskes bacon. I'z in love. See more on my @thrillist article through the link on me page.

Mackenzie Smith considers herself a sandwich expert and we'd have to agree!

She was featured her this past February to guide New Yorkers to the best grilled cheeses the city had to offer. And microwaving American cheese between Wonderbread just won't cut it!

Dedicating her Instagram to the irresistible, melted-cheesy goodness that is grilled cheese, only follow her if you're prepared to be perpetually hungry.

4. @Takinyerphoto

Anthony Danielle's Instagram is to street style what Humans Of New York is to storytelling. Down to Earth, in the moment, and humanizing.

There's no high-end, couture fashions or perfect lighting. As Danielle describes it himself, it's "street. style. now." All he needs is Instagram, the app Camera+, and a busy part of time to just snap pictures as they happen. They may not be #NoFilter, but you'd never know the difference.

5. @FoodBabyNY

No, this isn't an account dedicated to eating too much. It's just one proud dad taking pictures with his one hungry child.

And, boy, is it cute! The two go about their lives in the city, eating just as much and just as bad as we do, but it's way more interesting here since it's with a baby. Besides, what good is a cute kid if you can't get a few followers out him, right?
