In case you were worried that your childhood days were behind you, rest assured, they're making a comeback in full swing. Or should I say, slide.
With “adult slides” opening in cities all over the world, growing up is a thing of the past.
We know about the slides that opened on Governor's Island, with the tallest one at 72 feet, and even the tunnel slide in London that reaches a whopping 584 feet.
Nyack, which is only about an hour and a half from New York City, is opening a slip-and-slide August 27th.
What’s the big deal about a slip and slide, you ask?
1000-feet of slip and slide is the big deal.
Functioning as a giant block party, the Sack Lunch Productions called "Slide the City" will be packed with music, food, and drinks. Starting at 9 a.m. in Nyack, NY, you'll get to go crazy with as much slipping and sliding you can handle.

Not to mention inflatable tubes to make your journey down the slide a little more comfortable. Tickets are $35, and they come with unlimited rides for three whole hours.
How many slips can you fit onto the slide? Let us know. Get your tickets here.
