1. Down the Hatch (179 West 4th Street)

Down the Hatch has done it again. They've got $2 domestic mugs on Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the rest of the bar is half priced.

They've also got beer pong, a party crowd, and those amazing prices. If you want to munch on some tangy, really tasty wings, they're $9, and you can get them in abusive or nuclear if you're insane and you want to put your spiciness threshold to the test.
We could go on about how fun Down the Hatch is, but all you really need to know about are the $2 beers, right?
2. Finnerty's (221 2nd Avenue)
Wednesday nights at Finnerty's are fun for the sheer reason that they've got "Geeks Who Drink" trivia at 9 p.m., and they give out $50 to the winner every week.
If you're a geek who loves pounding beers, you've found a home. If you're not a geek, well, you still love pounding beers don't you?
They've got $3 beers on Wednesday evenings from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., which includes Bud and Bud Light, Yuengling, PBR, and Coors Light. Their Wednesday night deals also include $4 mixed drinks, which is pretty stellar as well.
They've also got amazing fried chicken, and it's a very San Francisco atmosphere, so if you're into all that, make sure you get to Finnerty's.
3. Hair of the Dog (168 Orchard Street)
Boy, do we love Hair of the Dog. We love their buffalo chicken nachos. We love the opportunity to play beer pong and defeat all our friends.
What do we love the most? Well, we love going to Hair of the Dog on Wednesday night, because it's way too crowded to have a good time there on weekends, plus those Wednesday night deals...

Let us lay it out for you. We're talking $2 cans and $8 domestic pitchers of beer from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. That's right: $2 beers. They've also got $4 shots of flavored vodka and fireball.

We're talking $4 Yuengling drafts and $4 well liquor drinks. These are pretty incredible deals, since there are definitely spots in the city that would charge you $10 more for beers and well drinks.
They've also got $5 glasses of red and white wines, $6 dark and stormies, and free buffalo wings with every pitcher of beer you purchase.
You can also get a free hamburger or vegan burger with the purchase of a drink. Yup, Wednesday nights have definitely never been better.
7. TG Whitney's (244 East 53rd Street)
Everyone who comes to TG Whitney's is here to have fun, so there won't be anyone ridiculous. Just fun party people.
Plus, on Wednesdays, they've got two-for-one drink specials from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. They've also got $5 frozen margaritas, daiquiris, and mojitos, as well as $14 pitchers of sangria and $13 pitchers of beer.

So, yeah, it's pretty amazing, and if you visit once, it'll definitely become a go-to after work spot for you and your pals.
8. Uncle Charlie's Piano Bar and Lounge (139 East 45th Street)
Ready for the Wednesday night deal of the century? Okay, maybe not the century, but it's definitely a really, really good one.
At Uncle Charlie's Piano Bar and Lounge on Wednesdays, they've got two-for-one well drinks and wine, $2 Coors Light Drafts, and $3 Stella, Guinness, and Sam Adams Drafts.
Yeah, we know, these are wild deals, and definitely worth getting to Uncle Charlie's Piano Bar and Lounge. These are the kind of deals that make you wonder why you'd ever drink anywhere else on a Wednesday night.
