Learn How to Make Fresh Mozzarella (While Drinking Bottomless Wine) on Sundays at Kesté Fulton

ATTN: If you are interested in learning more about Hungry Pop's interactive food experiences for your next corporate/team-building or private (bachelorette, bridal, birthday) event, you can contact them directly HERE.

After running the wildly successful ‘Make Mozzarella, Drink Wine’ over the past twelve months, Hungry Pop has just officially announced their event series will continue on in their very own South Street Seaport loft this winter!

To further improve upon this experience, they have also added a fresh pasta-making component to the two-hour bottomless white/red wine-drinking occasion—thereby establishing it as the newest, must-do interactive food & drink experience in New York City. (And the only one that combines both pasta and fresh mozzarella-making in one event, all the while serving you tons of delicious food!)

Following in the footsteps of their sold-out weekly event series, 'Make Pizza, Drink (Bottomless) Wine', Hungry Pop is proud to announce 'Make Pasta & Fresh Mozz, Drink (Bottomless) Wine' going down at at 7 PM on Saturday nights in January and February, and Sunday afternoons as well.

*PLEASE NOTE: Hungry Pop will be hosting three events on Valentine's Day Weekend: Friday & Saturday evening (2/14 + 2/15) at 7 PM, and Sunday afternoon (2/16) at 2 PM.*

But who really knows what it takes to make pasta and fresh mozzarella by hand? Not many, if any at all-- well until now, that is.

With a little help from artisanal cheese-making expert and New York native, Max Schwartzman (who learned how to make fresh mozzarella in NYC’s finest establishments like Agata & Valentina, Campbell Cheese, and Mekelburg’s) and Giorgo Katrantzos (who has more than fifteen years experience in hospitality and has held managerial positions at Walt Disney, Morton's Steakhouse, and BareBurger), you can now come and learn how to make pasta and fresh mozzarella while enjoying an open red & white wine bar!

'Make Pasta & Fresh Mozz, Drink (Bottomless) Wine' goes down on Friday and Saturday nights in January & February, and Sunday afternoons in as well!

Come prepared to roll up your sleeves with Max, Giorgo, and the entire Hungry Pop team at their brand spankin’ new South Street Seaport private event space, where you’ll spend two hours learning how to make (and taste, duh!) the freshest mozzarella and pasta you’ll find on the entire island of Manhattan.

To start the experience off, you’ll have a wonderfully refreshing mixed green salad with heirloom tomatoes and freshly bocconcini (made by--who else--our mozzarella chef, Max!) and after it's all said and done, you'll finish this experience off with the most yummy dessert ever: creamy, crunchy cannoli made by legendary NYC bakery, Parisi (who are also supplying the event with freshly-baked loaves of bread)! To add some much needed protein to this over-the-top culinary experience, we will also serve up some roasted chicken skewers seasoned with freshly-squeezed lemons; oh, and don't forget about a heaping portion of homemade tortelloni too!

Then, the real fun begins...

You’ll get a quick demonstration of how to make both pasta dough and fresh mozzarella from home, and then you’ll finally be able to participate in making your very own mozzarella and fresh ricotta-stuffed tortelloni pasta (which you'll get to take home).

After you make your very own ball of fresh mozzarella, you'll be able to finish the dish off with slices of imported proscuitto, an heirloom tomato salad with basil and chunks of Parmigiano Reggiano, extra virgin olive oil, and imported balsamic vinegar. (And if you like, don't forget to grind your very own pink Himalayan salt and black peppercorn seeds atop your fresh mozz for some extra flavor!)

To top your tortelloni-making experience off (you’ll be able to pack up the pasta you make during this event to bring home), you'll first be able to enjoy a tasting of a super authentic, homemade pesto and marinara sauce to enjoy right then and there with fresh tortelloni that our chefs have prepared, just for you; so, yes, come hungry and leave full! (NOTE: If you have a nut allergy, please refrain from our pesto sauce, as it contains almonds and/or pine nuts.)

Talk about a full meal and interactive dining experience all in one, right?! So. Damn. Good.

*Please note: If your group is 10 people or more (birthday parties & corporate/team-building events are welcome!), please contact info@hellohungrypop.com to discuss setting up a private event.*

Not only will you gain invaluable hands-on culinary experience, but you’ll also enjoy complimentary glasses of house red & white wines for two hours while learning first-hand about fresh mozzarella and pasta from Hungry Pop’s skilled team of licensed professionals!

Grab your friends, family, or significant other(s) and join Hungry Pop on Friday/Saturday evenings or Sunday afternoons this winter for a taste of heaven and to test out your pasta and mozzarella-making skills (not to mention, your bottomless wine-drinking ability!).
