New York City is filled with some amazing f*cking burgers. But we're just saying, if you've never eaten a fried egg over a burger, you have not truly lived.

According to GrubStreet, Andrew Zurica, the dude behind Hard Times Sundaes, doesn't agree with us.

“People are always asking me to put eggs on burgers,” he says. “But I’m a purist; eggs are for breakfast.” Whatever, man.

However, the masses begged and Zurica delivered– you seriously cannot pass up on his new breakfast burger– two cheese-smothered fried eggs over a beef patty on a poppy-seed Kaiser roll.

Um, Holy Sh*t.

If you need one of these in your life as badly as we do, listen up, Zurica wasn't kidding when he said eggs are breakfast foods–you can only get one of these at Hard Time's Urbanspace Vanderbilt food hall kiosk from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on weekends.

Here's to hoping he loosens up on that but we're not keeping our fingers crossed, he seems pretty adamant.

The presence of the eggs in the sandwich, according to Zurica, make the burger a garnish (lol) and the meal's exclusive breakfast hours prevent anyone from swapping those roles.

So it's basically like, a burger-egg-and-cheese. Which isn't like, thaaat different from your classic BEC. We don't even have to change the letter in the acronym.

We didn't think eating a burger for breakfast would be our thing but we're definitely going to suck it up for this one.
