We get it, times are tough in NYC. Everyone's just looking to save a buck, especially with prices of rent skyrocketing.
No one wants to spend too much money on a failed date when it's been proven that you probably won't be getting married anytime soon anyway.
So with Valentine's Day fast approaching (at least according to the overzealous department stores that have had red and pink heart decorations out since January 1st), why not make a reservation at your favorite restaurant... say, White Castle?
That's right, White Castle is currently accepting reservations for their 25th annual Valentines Day dinner on Sunday, February 14 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Because nothing says "I love you" like White Castle.
And don't think it's like your average White Castle experience, because who would do that on a day as important (or not, because, you know, Hallmark) as Valentine's Day?!

Your reservation will ensure you a table complete with hostess seating, table-side service... as in you can order from a menu of sliders, Shrimp Nibblers, Strawberry and Cream Waffles with little heart shaped sprinkles, and more from a server and have it delivered to your table.
Best part? You can get all of this for only $9.95 each. Seriously.
So if you're looking for a cheap white table-clothed dinner for you and your main squeeze, check out White Castle for their 25th anniversary Valentine's Day dinner.
llewellyn22 Well I know where I'm taking @maryet23 out for Valentine's Day dinner! #whitecastle #valentinesday
Reservations are expected to fill up fast, so get on it, New Yorkers. Plus, you can actually get married at a White Castle. Pro tip: tell your future kids you got married in a castle on Valentine's Day. It'll inspire unrealistic romantic ideals that they'll never achieve until they realize you left out the White portion.
Because that's all Valentine's Day is anyway: a day to celebrate unattainable romantic ideals with the notion that people appreciate pink and red heart shaped confections, rose petals, and overpriced, chalky-tasting chocolates.
Needless to say, you'll find us at a White Castle on V-Day. Or not. Who knows?
