Sometimes we love tourists and the money they bring to our economy. Sometimes we hate them for invading our city and making us late for work.

This is one of those times that we're grateful for the tourists who have as much respect as our home as their own.

Youtuber Jeff Altman recently uploaded an incredible video shot by his grandfather (who also might have demonstrated the 1950s version of a selfie) during his visit to New York City in 1957.

The video shows scenes of the skyline, Rockefeller Center, Yankees Stadium, and the Statue of Liberty, all in the then-modern technology of color video.

Altman's grandfather seemed to have traveled extensively in the 1950's, with other videos documenting the scenes of places like Morocco, Portugal, San Francisco, Rome, and Seattle
