Locked & Loaded: 8 Must-Do Things to Cross Off Your Manhattan Bucket List This Spring

Guess what, New Yorkers?

Even though it doesn't feel like it, this Sunday marks the first day of spring, and although we could be blanketed with 6-12 inches of snow, we're still looking forward to some warmer weather.

To get us in the mood for sunshine and blooming trees, we're looking forward to all of the events and activities that you absolutely cannot miss this spring.

What better place to usher in the spring than the borough of Manhattan?

Here are the absolute cannot miss events happening in Manhattan this spring.

Macy's Flower Show (March 20th to April 3rd)

Springtime means flowers, and to jumpstart the season, we're heading to Macy's Annual Flower Show at Macy's Herald Square.

If you've never had the opportunity to check out the incredible blooms at Macy's Flower Show, you need to check them out this year.

NYC Craft Beer Festival (March 25th & March 26th)

The fifth year of the NYC Craft Beer Festival is happening on March 25th and 26th at the Lexington Armory. This massive beer festival will serve over 150 beers, ciders, and meads from 75 different breweries from across the country.

Not only will you get two-and-a-half hours of unlimited 2-ounce tastings, but you will also get the opportunity to taste limited-release brews and seasonal selections.

Act a Fool (Friday, April 1st)

What are you doing on April Fool's?

Uh, you're heading to our 'Act a Fool'  at No. 8 for a night full of great drinks, free spoiled NYC sunglasses and t-shirts, and an hour-long open bar brought to you by Tequila Avión and The Hidden Sea Wines.

If you missed out on our epic parties last year, this is your first shot to make up for it. We're kicking off our monthly event series with this party from 9 p.m. until who-knows-when.

Get your tickets here. See you there then, right?

Pillow Fight NYC (April 2nd)

lorewoo

Grab your pillows, ladies and gents, because this year's annual Pillow Fight NYC is going down at Washington Square Park.

The pillows will start flying at 3 p.m. and the fight won't stop until 6 p.m. Just make sure to bring a soft, feather-free pillow, because you don't want to be the jerk who breaks someone's nose with a pillow.

You can deposit your pillow in a donation truck when you're finished in order to help Dare2B fight child poverty and homelessness in NYC, or you can take it with you.

Rooftop bars

Springtime weather is the best time to start your outdoor, rooftop drinking. It's time to prep your liver for the sh*tshow that is summer booze season.

Alright, so we really don't want you to destroy your liver, but it is the perfect time to indulge while overlooking the most beautiful city in the world... NYC (uh, duh!?).
