Money Out Like a Lamb: 7 Absolutely Free Things Happening in NYC This April

There ain't no such thing as a free lunch, but that doesn't mean that nothing is for free.

Especially this month in New York City.

And ever since your rent went up in January, you could definitely use some free stuff in your life.

There are tons of free events happening in April, even some that allow you to take advantage of the warmer weather (you know, once that actually happens).

So why not kick off Spring 2016 with these 7 free events in NYC this month?

1. Rainbow Book Fair (John Jay College - 524 West 59th Street)

The parade takes place on Sunday, April 10th beginning at 1:45 pm, and is completely free of charge.

3. Earth Day (Union Square North Plaza - East 17th Street & Park Avenue)
