Summer is coming to New York City which means that we want to spend as much time as we can outside.

We want to hang out in parks, enjoy food festivals, and basically do everything we can to forget the bitter miserableness that is winter (until next year, that is).

Lucky for us, the various outdoor movie venues that NYC offers every year let us relive some of our favorite films of the while hangin' in the great outdoors.

SummerScreen in particular, an event that goes down in Brooklyn's McCarren Park on Wednesday evenings in July and August, has just announced its summer lineup for 2016.

The event will be screening some of our favorite cult classics of the 90s and '00s, as well as an audience choice film (TBD as of right now) on August 10th.

Here's what you can look forward to this summer:

July 6th - Scream

July 13th - Harold and Kumar go to White Castle

July 20th - The Fast and the Furious

fafsaga

July 27th - 10 Things I Hate About You

August 3rd - The Royal Tenenbaums

August 10th - Audience Pick

You'll be able to catch live music at 6 p.m., followed by these films starting at sundown.

And if you've got a favorite throwback movie you'd love to see on the park's big screen, vote here and throw your pick in the ring.

So grab your comfiest lawn chair (and a thermos of your favorite booze), and head over to Brooklyn to enjoy this ultimate summer #TBT.
