Ghost stations, ejector rooms and... tokens?! Oh, my!

The New York City subway system is iconic as it is eerie.

Everyday commuters believe that they know so much about the ins and outs of the subway but, how much do we really know?

Ellis Henican tackles this in a segment he created for New York Newsday and in the segment he breaks down the logic of panhandlers, crime and tries to make sense of the mystifying side as well.

In the segment, Henican talks about "ghost stations" and the music is so fitting that it should have won a prize in editing.

Henican, a man apparently without fear, also touches upon "ejector rooms" the most curious room in the all the subway.

Check out the video here and peep the way Ellis Henican starts his adventure into the subway. Not with a swipe but with a drop.
