We love New York City but is anyone else seriously overdue for a getaway?
Your time is here because Southwest's biannual sale is back with round-trip flights going for less than $100.
If you can snag some time off in between November 30th and December 20th OR January 4th and February 15th, you have until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, October 6th to shop the deals.
Of course, Friday and Saturdays are excluded so take note of that.
Obviously, you should buy as soon as you can; the sale can get unpredictable– in June 2015, it was so popular that the website crashed. Sure, the sale was extended an additional 24 hours but don't take the chance.
As reported by USA Today, flights on the shortest routes begin at $49 each way and increase to $79, $99, or $129 each way on longer ones, which makes sense.
Some routes are even cheaper– between Baltimore and Boston was going for $41 each way and Denver to Omaha round-trips could be found for around $92.

Southwest has recently begun international routes, which are also included in the sale, but those are waaay more restricted.
The fares go from $99 to $239 one way and are only offered Tuesdays and Wednesdays. International flights on sale can also only be purchased for November 30th to December 13th and January 10th to March 2nd.
