It's beer week in New York City, everyone. Which means it's perfectly acceptable for you to indulge in oceans and oceans of your favorite, carbonated, hoppy vice.
During NYC Beer Week, plenty of venues are celebrating craft beer with tastings, pairings, and dinner.
If you ask us, craft beer is an excellent cause for celebration.

Yeah, we know we just listed two of the most divine food and drinks there is under the sun, but that's what's happening at Back Label Wines on Wednesday, February 24th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

They'll be pairing four variations of cheesy, bready goodness with four New York beers, plus an additional beer, and more cheese, sans bread.

From 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at DGBG Kitchen and Bar on Thursday, February 25th, there will be beer drinking. A lot of it.
There will also be a very special guest in presence to share in all the beer drinking: None other than Greg Doroski, the lead brewer at Threes Brewing in Gowanus.

On Thursday, February 25th, St. Gambrinus Beer Shoppe will be hosting a Beer Week Epic Local Roundup.
What does that mean? It means it's time for you to wash down all the NYC local classics. St. Gambrinus will be featuring special beers from all their favorite NYC breweries.

We love beer because it's delicious and it gets us drunk, happy, and euphoric. We love cheese because, well, cheese fills us with wonder about the world.
What do we love more than just regular cheese? You guessed it: Murray's Cheese. If you come to The Jeffrey on February 26th between 4:20 p.m. and 2 a.m., you'll have the chance to sip on St. James' Brewery beer paired with Murray's Cheese.

On Friday, February 26th from 4:20 p.m. to 4 a.m., things are going to get kind of wild at Fools Gold.
Mixologist Matt Friedlander will be in the building, and he'll be mixing up some crazy beer cocktails. Also, he'll likely do some fire breathing, as well.

Also, they'll be launching a new beer: Hoppy Ending IPA. It's being created by Barrier in collaboration with Beerly Legal. Do you want to be among the first to try a delicious, hoppy new beer?

On Sunday, February 28th, Brooklyn Brewery will be hosting their Brooklyn Brewery Summer in Winter party at Webster Hall from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
If you haven't partied at Webster Hall you need to check it out. It tends to be more fun than you're prepared to handle.

Do you love beer and movies?
Yeah, we do too. We think beer and movies are an excellent combination. At Randolph Beer on Sunday, February 28th, they'll be hosting a beer drinking and movie showing extravaganza.
They'll be showing Coming to America, Ghostbusters, and Escape from New York. It is beer week, after all, so they'll also be passing out $5 NYC pints, and popcorn as well.
