Yes, 2015 was definitely the year of the Pizza Rat in New York City. That little bugger captured our hearts and taught us about ourselves. For that, we commend it. 

In honor of what else we have to learn from our urban rodent population, New York Magazine held a taste test to figure out which famous NYC pie is the favorite among City rats.

They left pies from Grimaldi's, Williamsburg Pizza, Motorino, and Lombardi's out in a park downtown and counted how many rats took slices from each pie. Simple as...pie.
