Ahh, the subway sleepers... a magnificently peaceful breed who have just become endangered due to new habitat regulations... 

Well, due to the NYPD's attempt to curtail crime by waking up sleeping subway patrons. 

Whether or not we'll continue to see the slumber of fellow riders in the future, we'll always have these beautiful images capturing a little slice of serenity on the subway. 

Spanish photographer, Diana Kunst, captured these shots of fellow New Yorkers sleeping on the subway.
