Don't worry Betty White fans, the Golden Girls themed cafe, called Rue La Rue, is still opening soon(er) in Washington Heights. Just not in September, like originally planned.

According to TimeOut NY the cafe, with its current location at 4396 Broadway, is not quite ready for opening. We have been keeping an eye on it since last year, and we're stoked!

In the meantime, the team has been posting teasing peeks at the interiors on social media.

From the looks of it, diners can expect plenty of glam headshots of the cafe's namesake, Emmy-winning actress Rue McClanahan, who starred as Blanche Devereaux on the NBC hit.

Understandable, since the owner Michael J. LaRue was a longtime friend of McClanahan, and even inherited many of the actresses’ possessions and Golden Girls mementos upon her passing in 2010.

Old costumes will also be part of the interior, along with an upright piano (we don’t know if you can do karaoke, but we hope so).

For us, it’s still a ways to go with no official opening date. Betty White is rumored to be attending the cutting ribbon ceremony when said date is decided.

Also, we don't have an official menu but we're hopeful that the cake is on it along with the cheesecakes they tasted.

The cafe, once it's open, will have dining hours from 6 a.m to 10 p.m on weekdays, and 6 a.m to 11 p.m on weekends, and will serve a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts.

But what we can do is binge-watch the beloved '80s sitcom when it comes out on Hulu, and keep ourselves pumped for an official date!
