When you walked outside this morning, did your breath catch with the theme of the weekend?

No, we're not talking about because it's too cold to actually breathe in the air of the arctic tundra that is currently, New York City... we're talking about the plethora of love in the air thanks to Valentine's Day weekend.

In the spirit of the romantic holiday, the New York Public Library has put together an interactive map plotting points where some of their favorite literary love scenes take place in NYC.

The inclusion of some of the novels is pretty necessary: how could you leave out The Great Gatsby, one of the most tragic love stories ever written, or Breakfast at Tiffany's a literary and blockbuster hit? Hint: you couldn't... and neither could the New York Public Library

However, some of the romantic scenes included are from literary works that aren't as well known: Forever by Pete Hamill or Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin.

Check out the interactive map and see whether your favorite love story made the New York Public Library's list here.
