Remember "The Miracle On the Hudson?" No?

It was the only thing anyone was talking about in the winter of 2009 when a US Airways flight had an emergency landing in the Hudson River and all 155 passengers and crew members escaped the sinking plane alive and well.

The hero behind the Miracle On the Hudson? Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger.

Thanks to Captain Sully's quick thinking everyone on the flight was able to return to their homes safe and sound.

Captain Sully was lauded as a hero for months following the incident - a title well deserved for such quick and effective thinking under pressure.

The story of the emergency landing was so momentous that it will soon have its own movie, directed by Clint Eastwood.

The movie, officially titled Sully, features America's sweetheart and overall gem, Tom Hanks, as Captain Sully. The first official trailer was recently released, giving us a glimpse into Eastwood's latest project.

The official description of the movie states that it will focus on the controversy and investigation surrounding Sully in the aftermath of his heroic actions. Okay then...

While we're not entirely sure what that means, as Sully still remains in good standing in the public eye, we're looking forward to seeing Eastwood's take on the "Miracle On the Hudson."

Check out the trailer below and remember that for every Bridge of Spies, Castaway, or Saving Private Ryan Tom Hanks does, he also there's also a Larry Crowne, The Terminal, and The Polar Express
