Music lovers can rejoice because as the temperature gradually increases in New York City, so do the outdoor music activities.
And truly there’s no better way to celebrate this heat than with some good music right?
Lucky for us, Forest Hills Stadium has just announced their 2016 summer concert line up!
The legendary venue which was recently renovated, has returned with its outdoor concert experience for the third time this year, and we are super stoked with Disclosure and Flume already on the bill.
The stadium began featuring artists again back in the summer of 2013 with a show by Mumford & Sons, and since then has had an increasing number of artists perform year after year, including Ed Sheeran, D’Angelo, and Drake to name a few.
During the 60’s, performers such as The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Frank Sinatra graced the stadium stage.
In fact, the Beatles played two consecutive sold-out shows back in 1964 arriving in a helicopter that landed on the grass courts.
Now with over 3 million dollars in renovations including new seating and amenities, the beautiful, historic venue is better than ever!
