We love a good throwback. 

Who doesn't? There's nothing better than the taste of sweet, sweet nostalgia, especially when our current lives are a bit of a mess. 

But an Instagram post can only do so much - especially when the farthest back we ever throw it back is a group photo from the first week of college when everyone was "babies." 

That's why we're super psyched for the 2016 Jazz Age Lawn Party - the ultimate throwback to, and celebration of, the swingin' 20s. 

The annual event is an excuse to dress up in your best 1920s garb, head to Governors Island, and bust out some old favorites on the dance floor. 

Attendees will also be able to enjoy classic cocktails as well as live music from Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra.

Sounds pretty amazing, right? 

It's definitely not one to be missed.

The event does down from June 11th and 12th, and then again on August 13th and 14th.
