Do you have a Pinterest? Have you ever woken up and just been like, "You know what? F*ck plates!"

Well, this new restaurant is for you.

If you find yourself down on West 8th Street (if you find you're an NYU student is what we're saying, let's be real), you'll stumble upon Ancolie, which just opened after a very successful Kickstarter campaign.

Ancolie serves primarily salads and whole grains– their other thing is that most of their menu items are served inside a glass mason jar.

These aren't you average cutesy wedding centerpiece mason jars, though, they are designed by chef and owner Chloe Vichot with a wider mouth for easy eating (GET IT?!).

Sure, this sounds unbearably annoying but we've gotta give the place snaps for being eco-friendly. If you return your washed out jar to Ancolie, you'll receive a $1 off your next order, as well as 50 cents off hot beverages if you bring your own reusable mug.

As reported by Eater NY, Vichot's restaurant idea didn't actually hinge on the whole jar schtick, but came after she decided to open a casual lunch restaurant.

The menu, so far, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and features dishes like a Grain Jar, Apple Compote, Coconut Chia Pudding, and fresh pastries, which we can only hope to god do not come in jars.

Vichot also plans on changing the menu and coffee beans seasonally, in addition to swapping out a warm food option daily.
