While sure, it'd be great to jet to Munich for the world's largest Volksfest, do you really need to if you're in New York City?

ICYMI, Oktoberfest, which runs from late September to the first weekend in October, attracts more than 6 million beer-lovers from around the world. If you haven't made plans to celebrate Oktoberfest yet, what are you even doing?

But it's not too late!

From October 6th until October 8th, The Archway under the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO will be transformed into a traditional German beer hall for the neighborhood's first-ever Oktoberfest celebration.

Come prepared with an empty stomach to fill with pretzels, brats, sauerkraut, and of course, draft brews.

There will be live polka music, courtesy of Melina and the Oompahs, Bavarian and New German Wave pop music spun by DJ Holzmeister (AKA The Kaiser), and, as you'd expect, lederhosen and customary costumes.

The Creatively Wild Art Studio will also be supplying coloring books for kids (and the young-at-heart). The Lighthouse, a spinoff of DUMBO's Superfine, will be serving up delicious brats, sauerkraut, pretzels, and you can drink your fill of craft beer in custom DUMBO steins!

Fear not, vegetarians. Veggie brats are coming at you thanks to Chickpea & Olive (October 6th) and Yeah Dawg (October 7th & 8th).

"The unique setting of the Archway makes for the ultimate beer hall!" said Alexandria Sica, Executive Director of the DUMBO Business Improvement District. "We're looking forward to making this an annual DUMBO tradition.

Check out the full schedule of their schedule events below, and make sure you get out to what's likely going to be an absurdly good time under the arch!
