The 1970s are certainly back in terms of fashion: wide legged pants, flowing center-parted hair, and menswear silhouettes are sprouting up on runways and in stores.
But what if you could time travel back to New York City during the 70s?
The city has certainly evolved over the years, and continues to change rapidly. The below YouTube video, though, posted by Lt Mojo Risin, lets us step back into the past for just a moment.
The streets filled with now-closed business and huge, boxy cars are a bit jarring at first, but it's a fascinating peak at the city that was.
The music definitely adds to it as well; Bob James' "Take Me to the Mardi Gras" creates a perfect backdrop to enjoying this blast from the past.
Take a look for yourself.
