Gay Pride in New York City is right around the corner, and if you haven't figured out what you're doing to party down on the big day, you might want to get a jump on that.
NYC puts together some of the biggest and best Pride parties to be found, something that comes along with the territory of being the largest LGBT celebration in the country.
Here are some of the most promising parties happening during Pride weekend that will have you shaking a lot more than just your rainbow flags.
1. Dance on the Pier (West Street between Hudson & North Moore Streets)
Celebrating 30 fabulous years since its inception, the legendary Dance on the Pier takes over Pier 26 once again, and now with newly expanded hours. From 2 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 26th, you can come party with your peeps, as well as some serious talent, like this year's headline performer: Fergie.

Proceeds from Dance on the Pier benefit NYC's Official Pride events and local LGBT community organizations. So not only is it the biggest party going on that weekend, it's all for a great cause. The event closes with the world’s longest-running LGBT fireworks display over the Hudson River.
Tickets are still available, so be sure to get yours here, while you can.
2. Pinot Pride Launch Party (42West's XL Nightclub - The OUT Hotel)

Tickets cost $29 and include event admission and swag bag containing a bottle of Pinot Pride. Get your tickets right here!
