It's rooftop season, New Yorkers! That's right, whether you're looking for rooftop restaurants, hotel rooftop bars, or rooftop bars all across New York City, now is the time.
In the spirit of the season, Eataly is transforming its rooftop bar from an Alps-inspired winter wonderland into a seaside coastal hideaway.
Sabbia, which translates to 'sand,' is slated to open on April 29th.
They'll be serving up cocktails and dishes that you'd be more likely to find at a luxurious Italian resort than on a rooftop in the middle of the concrete jungle.

It will be taking the place of Eataly's Baita, the Alps themed restaurant that took over Birreria this past winter. The restaurant will be operated by the same staff that run Birreria, Eataly's rooftop microbrewery.
Whatever the cuisine, we're pretty pumped for their rooftop beach themed hideaway in the middle of Manhattan so you'll definitely find us there over the next couple of weeks.
