If you don't know who she is, she's an incredible chef and regular judge on Chopped. Make a reservation to take your parents to this spot with warm wooden accents and chow down on some spectacular braised veal shank.
2. Regular date night: Ammos Estiatorio (52 Vanderbilt Avenue)
ladjabetania Ammos Estiatorio, restaurante grego aprovadissimo, NYC, Delicia!!
This little romantic spot is cute and cozy for a step up on your regularly scheduled date night with your sweetheart... or (more likely) your favorite tinder match.
The dining room is bright and cheerful with warm, gray wooden accents. The Greek cuisine will have you wishing every week was restaurant week.
3. Fancy date night: Brasserie 8 1/2 (9 West 57th Street)
Oh, you're getting serious? As in you're poppin' the question serious? You may want to whisk your sweetheart to Brasserie 8 1/2.

It's a pretty darn beautiful restaurant that is sure to stun your love, even if the ring doesn't. This french style restaurant with impeccable service is a steal for $38.
4. Ladies night: Spice Market (403 West 13th Street)

We love this authentic spot for some Thai and Asian food. Why would we pick it for the girls? Because it has incredible decor, is excellent for groups, and has some really amazing food and drinks.
If you've ever passed Spice Market, you've probably smelled the aromas of deliciously spicy, exotic foods that make you think of Julia Roberts in Eat Pray Love. Try their spicy peanut noodles with a ginger and garlic chili oil. You won't be disappointed like you were in the Julia Roberts movie.
,5. Boys lunch: Nick & Stef's Steakhouse (9 Penn Plaza)

Even though girls like steak, too, this is a great spot for the guys to have a fancier lunch if you're looking for a hefty meal as a filling appetizer to bar hopping before a Rangers' game at Madison Square Garden.

The steaks are absolutely incredible. We highly recommend the New York Strip with fries and wild mushrooms (particularly if you're planning on pre-gaming well before a game). Their seafood is also delicious, so try the scallops as your appetizer.
6. Group: The Library at The Public (425 Lafayette Street)
randajaafar This is my kinda library ! #thelibrary #thepublic #annehathaway #grounded #noho #nyc
This spot is perfect if you're heading out for a show... or try one of these excellent Broadway show/restaurant combinations for Restaurant Week.
This spot is wonderful for groups. With a slightly speakeasy-esque vibe, and plenty of space, you'll have a great time noshing on foods like burrata, trout, and cheesecake.
7. Business lunch: Dos Caminos Third Avenue (825 Third Avenue)
fancyfoodpics It's #tacotuesday and we are having a 'TOUR DE TACOS' from @doscaminos on midtown east in NYC. Perfect way to taste all the flavors, get 2 asada steak, carnitas, pescado & pollo tacos. Comes with a side of rice and beans and we could not resist to add sweet plantains! #tacos #carnitas #asada #chicken #fish #riceandbeans #sweetplantains #maduro #mexican #mexico #doscaminos #midtown #foodporn #nomnom #yummy #fancyfoodpics #manulovestoeat #2016
Heading out with some coworkers for a celebratory lunch? Or are you meeting with potential partners to talk about mutual benefits of a partnership over margaritas? You need to check out Dos Caminos during Restaurant Week.

Dos Caminos in Midtown East is the perfect spot for a group lunch, with ample space for large groups. Plus, the benefit of Restaurant Week is that no one has to worry about splitting the check... unless someone has too many "Ginger Sunkiss" cocktails...
