Whether you believe the early weather reports for this weekend calling for freezing temperatures, rain, and even some snow, springtime in New York City is just about upon us (and yeah, we literally can't hardly wait.)
If there's one opening that officially signals the start of the spring season in NYC, it's the opening of the historic Luna Park on Coney Island-- which happens to go down this Sunday, March 20th. So if you had no plans for Sunday Funday, consider yourself booked.
Borough President Eric Adams, who will be joined by none other than Mr. Met himself, will lead the traditional egg cream toast to officially mark the start of the 2016 season, and if you get there early enough you'll be enjoy a complimentary egg cream on the house-- courtesy of the good ol' Brooklyn Seltzer Boys.

So yeah, see you there? Look out for us. We'll be that crew riding the Cyclone over and over again until one of us gets motion sickness.
