Is it May? Yea, it's definitely May.  Unfortunately, Mother Nature seems to believe we're still in April considering the dreary, cold, wet weather she's throwing our way.

Regardless, we're looking forward to whenever the weather catches up with the calendar and we can finally enjoy the outdoor activities that the Brooklyn Bridge Park has to offer... hello, climbing wall and outdoor movie series

Now, we've got even more to look forward to as the Brooklyn Bridge Park's 102-slip marina is finally open to the public.

The ONE˚15 Marina is located next to Pier 5, and fits boats ranging from 16-feet to 250-feet... as in, it can hold our mega massive yachts... or, more realistically, our miniature row boats with duct taped floors.

Curbed reports that the ONE˚15 Marina is the first new marina in New York City in 20 years. It's also the biggest recreational marina in New York Harbor in 50 years.

The marina was built by Edgewater Resources, using an environmentally friendly design, using a "unique Seaflex anchoring system for its docks and floating concrete breakwater by Marinetek, creating the calmest marina environment on New York Harbor."
