Sure, the heat may be unbearable, but we still can't resist the lure of a sweet outdoor dining spot.
The Bowery Market has barely been open a week, but this outdoor food court is already making waves.
Featuring unique dishes from The Butcher's Daughter, Pulqueria, and Alidoro, the Bowery Market is the place to be to try exciting new foods, all while soaking up some sun with your foodie friends.
Now joining the Bowery Market ranks is New York City's first ever outdoor sushi bar.
Sushi on Jones is the newest venture from the chefs behind Sushi Dojo, a spot that was once a favorite for sushi lovers, but was closed down by the DOH when it was discovered that their sushi chefs did not wear gloves while preparing said sushi.
But now these chefs are back with a bang, as this pop up sushi bar isn't the only thing they have planned.
Chef David Bouhadana of Sushi Dojo, and now Sushi on Jones, plans to a 12-seat omakase restaurant and whiskey lounge on Eldrige Street this Fall.
But for now, there's Sushi on Jones, where $50 will get you 10 pieces of nigiri and a hand roll. Not too bad when it comes to sushi prices.

You may have to fight for your seat at this new pop up spot, as this outdoor bar only seats four. Looks like your triple date will have to wait until next time.
But the fight for a seat seems well worth it - especially when you can sit down, relax, and go in on some sushi on a hot summer day.
