Amazon is a thrilling site. With a couple of clicks, you can have kitchen appliances, clothes, books, and pretty much whatever else you can think of zooming toward your door.

If you're an Amazon Prime member, a club that's looking more and more appealing every day, you can receive free same-day delivery.

With Prime Video, Prime members now have access to stream trending movies and shows.

Those of us who live in New York City are luckiest of all. Since we live in such close proximity to Amazon's regional warehouse, our orders are processed with rapid speed, and according to Time, some orders are shipped less than an hour after shoppers press buy.

These fulfillment centers are in 20 cities across the United States, and thanks to Amazon's Prime Now app, customers in these 20 cities can choose for their items to be delivered within the hour.

Of course, it's sort of a bummer for us in NYC, too, since shopping at Amazon bears the albatross of depriving local businesses and bookstores of our sacred patronage, but really, a service this fantastic is just too great to pass up.

Well, you'll have to worry about buying presents in advance for your loved ones who don't live in NYC, or one of Amazon's 19 other fulfillment center cities, but let's face it. They should have moved to NYC a long time ago.
