Cuffing Season Is Underway: 7 Best Dates to Go on This November in NYC

The most wonderful time of year is quickly approaching and if you ask us, this time of year is also the most romantic.

*has a panic attack*

Dating in New York City can be hard, but you should never feel that there is nothing to do on date night.

Uh hello? You're in NYC, there is always something to do.

The parkas are taken out of the closet, the hot chocolate is flowing, it's Friday night and you've got a hot date. What are you going to do?

We want to make this time of year as painless as possible, so we are supplying you with the best date ideas for the month of November.

1. Walking Tour of Eataly (November 9th)

Take a tour of the coolest (and probably best smelling) market in New York City. Eataly, located in the Flatiron District, is a taste of Italy right here in NYC.

After your walking tour, enjoy a lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants located inside the market.

2. NVR Sleep (November 9th)

spoiled Creative Director Rodney Hazard is back at it again this month with NVR Sleep – West Coast Connection

What to expect at NVR Sleep: 5 hours of dancing, drinking, and extremely good vibes. Nothing says "break the ice" like dancing till 2 a.m. Don't end the night there, end it here.

3. A Beer + Cheese Tasting (November 10th)

Beer and cheese... does it get much better?! It actually does...Beer + cheese + plus your date = perfect evening.

Located at The Wine Lab in Brooklyn, you and your date will be pleasantly overwhelmed with the knowledge of brewing and the yummy cheese. Reservations are required.

4. Paint & Sip

"Trust me, you can paint" is their motto and we trust them. Sip the nerves away and let your artwork tell the story.

Located on West 80th Street, the studio is just one block away from the 1/2/3 trains. Convenient, casual and so much fun.

5. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (November 24th)

This year is a big one! The 90th annual parade will take place on no other day than November 24th, and is the perfect way to kickstart your holiday season.

To name a few of the balloons that will be making an appearance, there is: Hello Kitty, Spongebob, the Pillsbury Doughboy, Pikachu (obviously...this was the year of Pokemon Go), Paddington Bear, and of course Charlie Brown.

6. Ice Skating at The Standard, High Line

We love this idea and so will you. At The Standard Ice Rink, you're not swarmed by tourists like you would be at other rinks. It's a more intimate experience which is perfect for date night. The rink is open weekdays from 12pm-12am and on weekends, 9 a.m. until 1 a.m.

Quite the range of hours to fit your schedules. Also available to you is a selection of hot-ciders, a spiked hot toddy and hot chocolate (black & white). YUM.

7. The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting (November 30th)

We started with the classic tourist attraction, but you can't deny that it's classic. If it's a first or second date, you will have the distraction of thousands of people to break that awkward silence...(which should be gone by the second date.) and it's FREE!
